The last few days of Milan Fashion Week, the “Creed III” movie premiere, and even Usher’s Las Vegas residency delivered some memorable celebrity fashion moments. The stars embraced opulent looks—a fashion week and red carpet signature—but infused their looks with a sense of spunk. Many chose to rejuvenate their ensembles with playful elements, whether it be a cheeky silhouette or bold color. All were good reminders that fashion is best served when you have fun with it.

The Looks

Bold hues especially stood out. At the Philadelphia Sixers vs. Miami Heat game, James Harden wore an orange Earthling VIP set consisting of a button-down shirt worn over a white t-shirt and a pair of matching pants. For shoes, he opted for a pair of orange and white Louis Vuitton x Virgil Abloh maxi sneakers, which completed the orange-themed outfit.

Somewhere in Milan, Buffalo Bills pro, Steffon Diggs turned heads in a head-to-toe faux leather Bottega Veneta look consisting of a yellow trench coat and a pair of black pants as he attended the Bottega Veneta show. Although the color of the trench coat was decidedly summery, it still felt fresh in covered-up lengths for the current cooler climate in Italy.

Dazzling in leather also proved to be an interesting take last week. At his Las Vegas residency, singer Usher’s black Vanson Leathers jacket and pants shone. Surprisingly, they were not the stars of his outfit. The beloved R&B performer went an unusual route and completed the look with a pair of roller skates from Sk8 Fanatics, which he later switched to a pair of black sneakers. His look was a perfect combination of playfulness and spunk.

Even the week’s more laid-back looks still had an aura of a stylish feel. For instance, Lewis Hamilton’s red Zegna x The Elder Statesman set, worn to the Bahrain Grand Prix, had a loose fit but was given structure with a pair of Vuarnet resort sunglasses and a pair of Prada America’s Cup sneakers. It was hardly demure.

There were even more noteworthy celebrity fashion moments last week that gagged us. A-listers slipped into ensembles that had a definitive structure, and they for sure stood out in a memorable way.
