From the 74th Primetime Emmy Awards to the high fashion streets of New York, male celebrities had many reasons to dress up and make a statement last week. Minimalism had no place on the streets or on the red carpet, perhaps, a bold move to signal the end of summer. Male Celebrities Dress Up
The Looks
Take American football player Jamal Adams, for example, who opened up the football season on Tuesday night in style. The athlete wore a black Nanushka button-up faux leather jacket, which he matched with a pair of black and yellow Bottega Veneta cargo trousers and a pair of white Salomon XT-6 trail running shoes. He gave the look an extra oomph with a pair of black sunglasses and layers of necklaces.
Equally dapper was DK Metcalf whose Monday night football look was just off-the-park stunning. He made his way to the back of the stadium in an off-white Who Decides War shirt which complemented his Phillip Lim shorts. Keeping to his neutral-toned theme, Metcalf wore a beige Our Legacy jacket over the shirt and finished the look off with a pair of Rick Owens sneakers and reflective sunglasses.
Statement prints also commanded attention last week. Ahead of the Tennessee Titans and New York Giants’ Week 1 game, Derrick Henry stepped out like a pro in a matching Louis Vuitton set with forest-themed prints on the shirt and pants. His choice of footwear was a pair of white and red Louis Vuitton sneakers, which complemented the coordinating set well. Finally, Henry completed the ensemble with a brown Louis Vuitton bag. He sure was having a very louis day.
Both on the red carpet and on the streets, male celebrities served up inspiring looks last week, and we have the pictures to prove it.
