Unexpected choices delighted us throughout last week. At the Africa Magic Viewers Choice Awards (AMVCA), Nigeria’s most revered movie industry award event, actor and host Adenola Adepetun gave evening wear an unusual spin in a custom Atafo formal wear. The Nigerian designer’s cropped beaded velvet, silk, and satin burgundy and a black three-piece suit was a welcome change to the usual evening wear at award shows.
