With football season wrapping up, the return of Fashion Week, and award season continuing in all its glory, last week, celebrities appeared to have turned down the dial on bombastic fashion before going all out again for another round. Even when things were kept minimal, celebrities across the globe paid attention to tactile details. At last week’s game days, TV interview appearances, and more, celebrities kept it simple, opting for designer clothing with an understated appeal.

The Looks

As is often the case, British actor Lucien Laviscount captured the mood of the moment. As an actor on the rise and a budding fashion boy, Lucien led the charge in making a case for streetwear in the Colm Dillane-founded streetwear brand KidSuper. The combination of a white wooly hooded sweater worn over a pair of graphic print pants and the unusual use of scarves as skirt-like silhouettes, completed with a pair of AW23 low-top boots, showed that streetwear is indeed evolving.

With Damian Lillard resplendent in Our Legacy’s brown tweed coordinating set and James Harden breaking out the Louis Vuitton set in a nod to luxury brands, athletes were brimming with style last week. However, Darius Bazley’s striking neutral fit consisting of a Dior beret, Givenchy blazer, LỰU ĐẠN joggers, and a pair of New Balance sneakers stood out even with all the competition. Perhaps, he’s one of the few men who can still make a beret-jogger combination look cool in 2023. There’s no doubt that Bazley wore this dapper ensemble with grace.
