On Wednesday, the Council of Fashion Designers of America (CFDA), in partnership with IMG, released the preliminary schedule for the New York Fashion Week February shows, which will run from February 10 to February 15. NYFW February 2023 Schedule

There are an astounding 75 designers on the preliminary lineup, including returning names like Altuzarra, Anna Sui, Area, Batsheva, Brandon Maxwell, Carolina Herrera, Coach, Collina Strada, Dion Lee, Eckhaus Latta, Elena Velez, Gabriela Hearst, Jason Wu Collection, Khaite, LaQuan Smith, Luar, Markarian, Michael Kors, Paloma Spain, Prabal Gurung, Proenza Schouler, and Puppets.

There are also some recent additions like Cucculelli Shaheen, Heron Preston, Ayama Studio, Koltson, Kallmeyer, Nayon, Kate Barton, and Zimo. On February 9, the night before the scheduled event, Christian Siriano will be showcasing ahead of time.

“Next month’s New York Fashion Week continues to build on last September’s shows with its strong mix of established brands and emerging talents and overall diversity and representation,” CFDA CEO Steven Kolb said in a statement. “As we see the next generation of American talent rise, we look forward to continuing this renewed momentum of New York this season and beyond.” NYFW February 2023 Schedule

Mulleavy of Rodarte will open the season, making their way back to New York after spending last season in Los Angeles. (At the Westbeth Artists Housing Complex in the West Village, they displayed their spring 2022 collection.)

In addition, Thom Browne is showcasing in New York City on Valentine’s Day. The newly appointed CFDA chairman has been a fixture of the Paris collections for almost ten years. On February 11, Heron Preston, another American designer with a track record in the City of Light, will make his way back to the Big Apple for his first-ever “real runway show.” After Marni and Fendi invaded Europe last season, the Spanish mainstay Palomo Spain is moving to New York City to stage their show on February 13.

Also back is New York Men’s Day on February 10, with a selection of menswear brands such as A.Potts, Nobis, and Atelier Cillian.

This season’s New York Men’s Day, noted for promoting up-and-coming talents, will take place at Daylight Studios, which can be found at 450 West 31st Street. A. Potts, All Beneath Heaven, Atelier Cillian, Cross Eyed Moose, Kent Anthony, Nobis, and Terry Singh will be on display during the event on February 10 from 10:30 a.m. to noon, and Bulan, Cross Eyed Moose, Dionysus, Jahnkoy, Nicholas Raefski, Nobis, and Raleigh Workshop will be showing from 4:30 to 6 p.m. (Cross Eyed Moose and Nobis will both be on display.)

While Spring Studios will still serve as the main hub for NYFW: The Shows, the NYFW women’s shows will take place all throughout New York City. Runway360, the CFDA’s consolidated digital hub and business platform to promote American fashion firms’ collection launches all year round, will continue to be used to broadcast the shows and presentations.
