Benin-based designer Tetteh just dropped campaign images of his new menswear JEANNE collection for his made-in-Benin brand TEED. The brand is inspired by his nation’s traditions.

The JEANNE collection is inspired by Benin’s traditional bombas. It was a cultural fashion style that was embraced by Benin during the time after independence until the end of the 19th century. It was worn by our parents as a 2-piece set but also with a 3rd piece which is the Agbada.

The brand decided to take inspiration from this design, which was very popular at the time, to create a modern, timeless piece that a diversity of cultures and people can identify with.

Amongst various materials used, was TEED’s Textile fabric, crepe, cotton, and linen. The looks from the JEANNE collection are available in all sizes. See the campaign images below.
