Ja Rule is making a positive impact in Africa. Recently, the Queens native took to X, formerly known as Twitter, to reveal his plans to construct a school in Ghana.

“I’m building a school in Ghana, can’t wait to go and break ground,” he shared. “Rule loves the kids!!!”

While he isn’t the pioneer rapper to contribute to education in less privileged areas like Ghana, his commitment is commendable.

In 2018, Lil Jon collaborated with Pencils for Promise, an organization dedicated to building schools in developing countries such as Guatemala, Laos, Nicaragua, and Ghana. Jon’s contribution to the program facilitated the construction of a school that eventually enrolled 300 children.

“Lil Jon is one of our most devoted and passionate celebrity supporters. From his on-the-ground efforts to donating his birthday to establish two schools, he consistently impacts educational needs in rural communities,” said PoP CEO Tanya Ramos to Entertainment Tonight in 2018. “We are thrilled to open the Mafi Atitekpo DA school with Lil Jon and can’t wait to see his impact in action.”

Ja Rule’s philanthropic endeavors come on the heels of the former Murder Inc. hitmaker revealing a new record deal, “potentially worth a hundred mill.”

“Just signed my new label deal potentially worth a hundred mill… LFG!!! Thanks for the love and to the haters SMD,” he announced on Twitter earlier this week.
