ast week, the unspoken fashion buzzword was “alluring.” It would suffice to say Queen B’s seventh studio album; “Renaissance” played a major role. From songs like Alien Superstar to Break My Soul, the hit songs had your favorite Black celebs vibing and unapologetically feeling “too classy for this world” in slinky fits that accentuated all silhouettes concerned. Surely, the stars didn’t hesitate to function on ultra-feminine energy all week long. These voguish celebrities set off to movie premieres, the Variety Power of Young Hollywood event, and Blackish’s Marsai Martin’s 18th birthday in classy dresses that, per usual, hit the peng mark. Black celebs glamorous fashion.

The looks

Beyonce said she’d feed us diamonds and pearls, and she sure meant it. The Queen dazzled in a hooded shimmering leotard and a custom Judith Leiber vinyl clutch as she celebrated going No. 1 on two of Billboard‘s primary charts. She was spotted arm-in-arm with her husband Jay-Z at her private Renaissance album release party in New York. U-N-I-Q-U-E!

Singer Ashanti performed at her show, which was held at Carnegie Hall, in a black sequin Balmain dress that featured a Grecian neckline with chain link embellishments around the hem, and a side slit on the frock’s left side for that feminine touch. She’s always on time.

Ex-beauty queen Shudufhadzo Musida will always be that GIRL, and last week she effortlessly kept up her serial-slaying status. Musida wore a sultry Gert-Johan Coetzee two-piece with fringing details draped down the shoulders and skirt’s hem. The wrap skirt had a brooch-like silver embellishment centered at the waistline, surrounded by pearls that flattered her hourglass figure.
