It’s both fashion month and awards season, meaning there was no shortage of celebrity sightings on the red carpets and the fashionable streets of Paris last week. These two events call for extravagant outfits, so celebrities dialed up the extravaganza with looks that made head-turning statements. Whether it was voluminous layers, unusual fabric combinations, or statement accessories, the best-dressed men of the week took exciting risks — risks that most definitely paid off. Paris Fashion Week Street Style
The Looks
At the Louis Vuitton show in Paris, Jaden Smith opted for a checkered cropped Louis Vuitton jacket paired with a pair of matching pants. He gave the outfit a lift with a pair of black platform boots. As edgy as the combo was, it didn’t turn heads as much as the unusual mansion-structure handbag he accessorized with. What’s fashion week without going all out?
At Y/Project, rapper Tyga opted for a cyberpunk aesthetic with a matrix-inspired Y/Project look. He looked coordinated in an all-dusty-black outfit which consisted of a long leather trench coat worn over a black t-shirt, black leather pants, platform boots, and statement sunglasses.
Meanwhile, the Lanvin front rows graced NFL pro, Stefon Diggs whose ‘rizz’ combined with his great fashion sense left jaws open. He wore an eggshell cropped embroidered sweater over a pair of caramel slacks and layered with an off-white fur jacket which everyone should be eyeing for their winter wardrobe. He finished the look with a pair of brown boots and a yellow tote bag.
Over on the red carpet of the most anticipated film award event of the year, The Academy Awards (Oscars), “Creed III” star Michael B. Jordan walked the red carpet in a dapper black tie look courtesy of Louis Vuitton. He added some subtle bling to the outfit with a pair of studs and a set of lapel pins from Tiffany and Co. His look is definitely a winner in our books.
Last week’s events gave us an idea of what our wardrobe should look like next fall/winter. From Paris Fashion Week to the Oscars, celebrities didn’t run out of street style and red carpet looks that gagged us.
