The energy seemed relaxed, and after a memorable cessation of award season, the stars pulled back to recuperate from the high-vibing Oscars carpet. Awards season was indeed lit, with statuesque moments of cascading numbers overlooking some of Hollywood’s unforgettable events. But last week, although the hard-working celebrities, talented designers, and creative glam teams went in for their beauty rest, we still witnessed some sensational fashion takes.

The calm didn’t stop Jennifer Lopez and Revolve from having a shoe collab launch. The star schmoozed with the likes of the Bailey sisters, Christina Milian, and Tiffany Haddish for a fun night out. In all, the energy last week was giving “resting on your laurels,” but if you know Hollywood well enough, then you know fashionable moments still manage to sneak out.

The Looks

Iconic singer Mary J. Blige took a break from fur and boots as she graced the Hologic press in a pink David Koma suit. Although the suit was formal, the star took the look for her spin with a semi-bang golden hair that spread its Ms. J. Blige’s flair over the entire assemblage.

Guess who else switched up her style? Rapper Megan Thee Stallion. The “hot girl” wore a matching midi skirt and cropped cardigan by Alexander McQueen to a Women’s Month event at the White House hosted by VP Kamala Harris. Although the beautiful fit was an understated option from what we’re used to Stallion churning out, she effortlessly aced it.

It’s official, talented artiste Tiwa Savage is on a sartorial row. Recently, it’s become an every week affair for Savage to lay up Rave-worthy style like dust. She rocked a full denim look from designer Sami Miro on the Gram. The mini denim dress with a jagged inside-out hem, the thigh-high oversize denim boots, and the coat came together to form a sassy sight for the eyes.
