Simple can often be mistaken for boring, but last week’s best-dressed men proved, while heading into Christmas, that simple fashion can still bring some refinement. Beyond the guys who chose to play the minimalist card, we still had a good dose of men who preferred to go hard. All in all, the boys favored pieces that turned the heat on for Christmas while paying attention to their personal style.

The Looks

Take NBA pro player Russell Westbrook for example. He brought out the Thom Browne kilt for his Christmas Day fit ahead of the Los Angeles Lakers and Dallas Mavericks game. Not only did this fit stand out, but it also made a festive statement, as the kilt is a celebratory outfit for the Scottish people (Westbrook is not Scottish).

Once again, Milwaukee Bucks player Thanasis Antetokounmpo put up-and-coming brands in the spotlight. The pro dressed up in a white sweatshirt, which he wore over The Incorporated “The Pleasure of Ruins” pants. He layered the fit with a powder blue Roam the Hall sleeveless vest and maintained the color scheme with a pair of white Nike sneakers. The vest gave the look a fun, youthful feel. Finally, Antetokounmpo complemented the look with a Kill the Hype cap and a pair of Oscar and Frank sunglasses.

A few stylish celebrities upped the fashion ante with shimmering fabrics and jewelry. One of them is Wizkid, who, at the Flytime Festival in Lagos on Christmas Day, graced the stage in a Louis Vuitton hooded jacket worn over a black tank top and a pair of black leather cargo pants. The look was finished with his signature jewelry (layers of necklaces, a leather wristwatch, and rings) and a pair of black sunglasses. For shoes, he added a pop of color with a pair of white sneakers.

Whether it was to a Christmas concert or a Christmas Day game, the best-dressed men made sure to share the joy of the season in style and merriment. Whether it was a colorful, ultra-hip look or a traditional festive look, these A-listers turned heads with every step. Best Christmas Fashion Men
