Despite the turmoil and debacle going on over the Cleopatra docuseries by Jada Pinkette, and gratifying reality is that conversations have been sparked.

There is no doubt the aggression of a black Cleopatra is nothing but a reflection of that which Arabs in Egypt have towards the original black people based in the country. One can only imagine the mistreatment they go through knowing the history of Arab/black relations.

Despite All Arguments There Is No Proof Of Cleopatra’s Race

Cleopatra is definitely not a queen that anyone of Egyptian descent should be proud of, she was a scandalous playgirl for the Egyptians and the loser of the Empire, despite whatever race or color she was.

However, one underlying fact is that there is no proof of Cleopatra’s racial tone. There is no evidence of her body found anywhere, nor is there any evidence of her mother’s body.

No Proof, Just Speculation, Assumptions & Perceptions

The aggression against Jada Pinkett is based on the fact that a man who existed 7 or so generations before Cleopatra was born, was Greek.

Based on this reality they have formed an assumption that this man Plotemy and all his descendants only married into their Greek family (which there is no record of it anywhere).

And if this is true, then how do they explain Cleopatra’s sister is found and proven to be African-black? Meaning her bloodline obviously was not limited by race. Not only that, but the Greek empire denied Cleopatra from marrying Ceasar simply because she was of a different race, but they won’t bring that up.

Romans Paint Cleopatra White Like They Did Jesus

The other evidence they hold is the bust created by the Romans depicting Cleopatra as white, all of which was created in the recent 200 years meaning they were just as clueless as anyone of today is. You can go ahead and believe it but just know the Romans are the same group of people that made Jesus white.

Outside of the questionable Roman bust (statues), there is more evidence to show Cleopatra was black rather than white, although none of which is proven. And based on this, it shows that the current majority of people in Egypt, who are not of the original African people, nor the Greek invaders of Cleopatra’s time, but rather descendants of Arab invaders who came into North Africa 600 years after, are aggressive about this movie simply based on their aggression towards Africans.

And one black Egyptian designer is experiencing and exposing such prejudice in her TikTok videos. Ranim Taha who is the founder of Jewelry brand Kiro UK is a UK-based Egyptian who is running a successful business.

She created her jewelry line because living in the UK she found it hard to find Egyptian-style jewelry as she would find in her mother’s possessions, hence the beginning of her brand KIRO.

In a recent TikTok video, Ranim expressed how every time she mentions she is Egyptian, she is attacked by the Arab occupants of Egypt on social media expressing vulgar and derogatory words to her. See it below.

She expressed that when she spoke to less prejudiced and aggressive Arabian Egyptians “Don’t be upset by the racism, it’s just because they don’t expect Nubians to do well”

Let’s analyze this statement. The first is 1, what is a Nubian, and 2. The comment is in its entirety.

1. Before Egypt was Egypt, it was Khemit and Nubia (The South right above Sudan). Nubia actually hosted my civilization and Pyramids than Khemit which is where the Greeks and the Romans eventually flooded into. However, when the Greeks conquered they also claimed Nubia all in as Egypt.

Khemit was filled with various ethnicities, but heavily dominated by black, similar to that of South African people complexion. Nubia on the other hand had the Sudanese-type dark black complexion which is very evident in their hyrogliphics art.

Real Egyptian art of Egyptians as they wish to be remembered and not the descendants of invadors.

So it has always been very common to describe darker-skin-toned people of Egypt as Nubians. And now that the Arabs have invaded, Nubian is a common term for all black-skinned people in Egypt.

2. Now that we understand, let’s dig into the comment “Don’t be upset by the racism, it’s just because they don’t expect Nubians to do well”. Not expecting someone to do well is not so bad, everyone is entitled to opinions and expectations. But attacking someone because they have done well is not a matter of expectation, it actually unveals the nature of these same Arab Egyptians attacking Nubians that do well or become public. And there is no other way this comment applies.

Based on this, one can only imagine the suppression of black Egyptians by the Arab occupants. It might just be speculation, but that colleague of hers must have known what lifestyle is amongst her people to justify the racism in such a manner.

This can only expose the fact that Egyptian black Egyptians are being suppressed in Egypt. That the Arabs in the land as so vocal about their dissatisfaction with a UK-based black Egyptian’s success. One can only imagine what an impoverished black Egyptian faces.

Black lands being occupied and dominated is nothing that should surprise anyone, we have seen it in South Africa, we have seen it in Australia, and also the whole of North Africa, as well as other parts of the world.
