Johannesburg is buzzing with anticipation as the highly anticipated SA Fashion Week makes its grand return, showcasing the Autumn/Winter 2024 collections. From October 19th to 22nd, fashion enthusiasts will gather at the Mall of Africa for this illustrious event.

Once again, Cruz, the beloved alcoholic beverage, will take center stage as the event’s sponsor.

The lead-up to SA Fashion Week promises an array of exciting activities. To kick off this year’s action-packed schedule, the Cruz Opening Party will set the stage. This extravagant soirée will see the fashion elite, influencers, and celebrities come together for a night of revelry. Guests will indulge in decadent Cruz cocktails, savor a menu inspired by the streets of New York, and enjoy world-class entertainment.

Maisha Mamabolo of Cruz emphasized that collaboration, cocktails, and The Cruz Collective remain the driving forces behind their efforts for the week. “Fashion transcends mere clothing; it shapes cultures. Cruz, inspired by the spirit of New York, stands with all those pursuing success as we explore the new era of luxury.”

SAFW is a dynamic collaboration between Cruz, a five-times-distilled grain vodka, the fashion-forward individuals of South Africa, and the nation’s most talented designers.

“Designers, fashion buyers, consumers, and media from across the continent and beyond will once again come together to witness the new season’s collections from emerging talents from Africa and beyond,” Mamabolo added.

Before their respective shows, attendees will be treated to complimentary cocktails and unique photo opportunities as they mingle with those who possess a keen eye for fashion.

In April, South African Fashion Week (SAFW) unveiled exhilarating trends at the Spring/Summer 23 Collections held at the Mall of Africa. “Our consumers increasingly seek to express a contemporary, uniquely African fashion identity, and we are excited about the possibility of adding more local success stories to our tenant mix, following in the footsteps of icons like Laduma Ngxokolo’s Xhosa-inspired signature,” noted Leemisa Tsolo, Head of Asset and Property Management—Retail at Attacq Limited, the owners of the Mall of Africa.

Lucilla Booyzen, CEO of South African Fashion Week, also extended a warm welcome to Isuzu as one of the event’s sponsors. “SA Fashion Week is thrilled to have ISUZU as our official motor vehicle partner.
