In an exclusive fashion editorial, Numéro Netherlands Digital spotlights the charismatic presence of Davido through the lens of the talented Photographer Raul Romo.

Styled by Blake Hardy with complementary grooming from Morgan Marinoff, Davido’s fashion statement in this editorial is nothing short of sensational, slaying beaded jewellery, iced-out jewellery, sunnies, a suit, layered pieces, an embellished winter jacket, and long coats. The photographs, shot at NLA Studios, complement Davido’s larger-than-life persona, presenting a visual symphony that connects his global impact to his cultural roots. When asked about the future of his musical career, the African artist triggered a concrete sense of anticipation and excitement saying:

We are just getting started. Fans can expect more music, more collaborations, more touring. 2024 is going to be an incredible year.

Hailed “The King of Afrobeats” given the three (3) Grammy Award nominations he received in November 2023, Davido has extended his influence beyond streaming platforms to cultural celebrations, launching the A.W.A.Y. Festival (Are We African Yet) in the same year with a mission to unite communities, promote collaboration and celebrate the diversity and magic of African music and culture — an opportunity to build more coalition between Africa and the world.
